Ode on solitude by Alexander pope

"Ode on solitude" Analysis of poem This poem is written by Alexander pope. He wrote this poem when he was 12 years old.   Alexander pope talks about a simple life close to nature. The poet praises and encourages a man who is a content with a small plot of inherited land , finding joy in its bounty of food and comfort that it provides.  Here,the poet writes in this poem that happy is the man who has a few paternal acres where they take a fresh air into their breath. He has a flock of cattle that offer him enough grains from his land the man owns enough sheep whose flocks offer him enough wool to have his own attire and other clothing. Many trees on his land offer him shade during the summer and he uses the wood of those trees to warm himself with fire during the winter.  The poet says that such a man is blessed as he is free of any burden and tention even time fails to bother him as he remains healthy in his body and has peace of mind throughout the year.  To mai...
